Expression pedal meter

Displays the current position of an expression pedal using a bar graph of 10 LEDs. It connects inline between an expression pedal and a keyboard's expression pedal input. It has a switch to change polarity (Yamaha or Roland wiring) and a recessed potentiometer to calibrate the meter to a keyboard. Requires a 9V power supply (2.1mm jack, 250mA minimum, center positive), not included.

£54 plus shipping.

Electret battery box

Small 9V power supply with switchable high pass filter for stereo electret microphones and capsules such as the excellent Primo EM172 capsules. Input is a 3.5mm stereo jack socket. Output is a 3.5mm stereo jack plug on a short flying lead.

£40 plus shipping.

Electret phantom power supply

Converts 48V phantom power into 8.2V plug-in power for stereo electret microphones and capsules (such as Panasonic WM61 or Primo EM172 capsules). Allows stereo electret microphones to be plugged into XLR microphone inputs and be powered by 48V phantom power. The device is low noise and balances the signal at a low output impedence to allow for long XLR cable runs. Input is a 3.5mm stereo jack socket. Left and right outputs are 3-pin male XLRs on a short flying lead.

£95 plus shipping.

Stockhausen Mikrophonie I Filter System

Bespoke MIDI controllers and software for performing Karlheinz Stockhausen's Mikrophonie I for large tam-tam. All controls have been recreated from original documentation that includes the original W49 datasheet and specification. A software simulation of the original Maihak W49 filter unit is available as a Max 7 patch. A 3/8" threaded bolt on the base of the unit allows it to be mounted on a short microphone stand. Two units are required to perform Mikrophonie I.

Available for hire. Please email for more information.
